This instrument was made for singer/songwriter Terence Hansen from Salt Lake City, Utah. For ease of travel, the necks are removable.
Both necks are attached to the body with a specially designed system made of titanium and hardened steel bearings. They are tightened to the neck pocket with an allen wrench. The same allen wrench is used to attach a tailpiece holding the stings to the bridge.
Carbon fibre reinforcement rods help the top cope with the tension exerted by two sets of strings.
Also, the guitar has an extra sound hole in the side. This feature enables the player to better hear himself play and loosens up the sound.
